This Honor ad is more of a personal ad because Obama is attacking McCain and his ideas. Obama is saying that McCain is just like bush proposing the same policies therefore making Obama say that there needs to be a change. This ad also uses names and words such as dishonarable and dishonest to attack McCain's campaign and himself. In this ad Obama is trying to turn views of the public on McCain about his strengths into weaknesses by using this ad to ridicule and attack him. Obama is using this ad to attack McCain by making people think he is telling lies which in some instances he is. During the recent debate McCain lied saying that he had warned us about the financial crisis we are facing now, but in 2007 he addmited that he hadn't seen the mortgage crisis coming. Another example of a lie McCain has told is saying Obama does not have a plan for the economic crisis which is not true. Senator Obama has talked about reforming Wall Street, getting CEO pay packages under control, and instituting new regulations to protect homeowners.
